If you don’t know the face, you might know the voice as Graeme is the regular announcer at Hampden Park for Scotland games and Cup Finals. When Hampden Park hosted 4 games at EURO2020 Graeme was delighted to be chosen as the Stadium Presenter for FANTV.
In 2022 Graeme became the new Stadium Announcer for Heart of Midlothian Football Club and has been the match day presenter for the Strathclyde Sirens in the Vitality Netball Superleague at Emirates Arena in Glasgow where here also hosted their virtual on-line awards ceremony and pre-match ‘party’ for their fans.
Graeme hosts his PlayList Podcast where he chats to Scottish sporting personalities be they players, athletes, broadcasters or well known sports fans about the music that motivates and what their specialist music topic is. Guests have included Doddie Weir, Gordon Strachan, Shelley Kerr, Tam Cowan and musicians such as Travis Bass Player Dougie Payne and Deacon Blue’s Dougie Vipond.
For many years he announced and presented at BT Murrayfield for Scotland in the RBS 6 Nations and Autumn Tests and also for Edinburgh Rugby in the Pro12/14.
Back in 2012 he was the in-stadium announcer for the Beach Volleyball in Horse Guards Parade at the London Olympics and in 2014 the voice of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games Rugby 7s at Ibrox Stadium.
Graeme has presented and hosted events for over 20 years – everything from basketball to marathons to archery to school conferences and awards.
In addition, he has over 20 years experience working in the education sector, therefore he is more than adept at facilitating, moderating and hosting conversations, be they one-to-one or in a panel.
