With nearly 10 years experience as a compère and MC, veteran of hundreds of events, Mikey has worked for the biggest names in the UK including the BBC, The Great Run Company, The London Marathon and Rat Race Adventure Events.
He has MC’d for the the Inverness Marathon, The Great North Run and acclaimed obstacle course races Men’s Health Survival of The Fittest and the famous Rat Race Dirty Weekend. Sponsors and charities he has hosted for include Land Rover, New Balance, Baxters, First Group, British Heart Foundation, The Soldiers Charity and Save the Children.
Muddy Race, the UKs No. 1 obstacle racing and mud running group recently said “Mike is half the reason we come” and Jim Mee, Director of Rat Race said “keep(s) thinking up new ways to keep people entertained .. hit(s) all the right briefing points and plays it straight when I need it .. keeps going for hours entertaining the crowds.”
Mikey has also hosted the talks stage at Play Expo Blackpool, the UK’s biggest gaming convention.

As a compere and Warm-up man Mikey works regularly for the BBC. Mike has been the regular Warm-up man on The One Show since early 2016, and host of Doctor Who Launch Screenings at the BFI.
Mikey is now a regular contributor to Talk Radio’s Fake News panel show.
Mikey has vast experience appearing at children’s events and productions, touring with a talking pig voiced by Mr Tumble and warming up large children’s and schools audiences for the BBC. On television his work ranges from panel shows, sketch shows to infomercials and commercials.
He is also very proud to support the British Red Cross, over the last few years hosting the regional heats of their incredibly popular kids dance competition “Dance Make Your Move”. In 2016 Mike hosted the UK Final alongside Angela Rippon at the O2 in London.
